Shell Clad System

Shell-Clad is a simple clip system that slots in and out of shell schemes, providing users with a smooth flat surface on which to apply their graphics.

Shell Clad allow exhibitors to create a shell scheme stand that is more exciting and inviting that the surrounding stands.

Shell-Clad is ideal for mounting any lightweight graphic material such as Foamex, Foamboard, PVC, Vinyl, Ply Wood, Fabric etc to a shell scheme.

Shell-Clad is supplied in lengths of 800mm as this is an easy size to fit/remove and is also easy to transport and store. The display height of the average shell scheme (Octanorm, Sodem, Modul etc) is 2.4m, so three pieces are fitted per upright.

How to apply Shell Clad
(open the PDF guidelines for more detailed instructions)

Attaching vertical Shell-Clad uprights
Clip into place by squeezing arrow head at one end and pushing into the shell scheme groove ( no tools are required).

Assembling corner Shell-Clad uprights (Fig iii)
These profiles are attached to standard vertical Shell-Clad uprights with two sided tape or suitable glue. Then attached to the shell scheme as normal.

Removing Shell-Clad
Squeeze the arrow head at one end and gently pull out of shell scheme groove. A slight twist action can sometimes help.

Attaching graphics to Shell-Clad
We recommend the use of velcro style products as this allows a degree of flexibility when attaching and removing graphic panels.

For the sake of efficiency, we also recommend that you standardise which half of the velcro is applied to Shell-Clad and which to your graphic panels.
